However, records do cost in Washington County. In Washington County, all birth records cost $15 for the first initial copy. Death record first copies in Washington County cost $13. Any further copy ordered on top of this will cost $10 extra per copy.

NOTE - In Washington County, there are rules a person must follow to acquire records. Firstly, the Washington County office is open somewhere between 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m. CST, from Monday to Friday. In Washington County, a person must bring a photo ID to be granted access to records. Examples of an acceptable form of photo ID include a driver’s license or state ID.
