Putnam County records do come at a cost, unfortunately. The first copies of birth records in Putnam County cost AMOUNT. Any further copies of the same document will cost an extra AMOUNT each. Similarly, death records cost AMOUNT for the first copy requested. It then costs an extra AMOUNT for every copy beyond that. In Putnam County, a person has to pay AMOUNT for the first copy of their desired marriage record. The second copy, and every copy after that, will cost an additional AMOUNT each. In Putnam County, divorce record first copies cost AMOUNT. Any further copy ordered at that time will cost AMOUNT extra per copy.

NOTE - There are rules to follow if a person wants to access records in Putnam County. Firstly, the office is only open from Monday to Friday, amongst 8:30 a.m.-AND 1:00 p.m.-4:30 p.m. CST. To be granted access to records, a person must also bring in a form of photo ID. Driver's licenses and state IDs constitute acceptable forms of ID. All requests in Putnam County have to be put in writing in order to be granted.
